I assume this is true but have to make sure. From the rooms in the tower with the Magic Kingdom view, can you see the fireworks show?

I dunno...the view from the 8th floor was pretty sweet! :sohappy:

Oh, I think the rooms start on the 6th floor. The fourth floor is the monorail, restaurants, shops, etc. and the 5th floor is conference rooms and spa (??). Someone will correct me if I am wrong, I am sure, but that is what I can remember...

Yes view is great from those rooms and for the music all you have to do is set your TV to a particular channel. However, a word of caution, when you keep the door open at night (at least in the summer) there are tons of bugs outside trying to get into your room. I guess they get attracted to the light coming from inside the room so turn off your room lights.

We were on the 6th floor. View wasn't horrendous. I asked for higher but nothing was available for our entire stay. Bummer.

We also tried to tune-in on the tv to get the Wishes music. We couldn't find it and called the front desk. After much deliberation amoungst the CMs we were told that the music wasn't working at that time. Something about a new system being put in place... who knows. But we were unable to tune-in for the Wishes sountrack. Don't want anyone else to be disappointed if it's not working for them either.

The 4th floor is the Concourse level with the shops and restaurants. The monorail station occupies the 5th floor on the MK side, but there are rooms on the Bay Lake side of the 5th floor. Starting with the 6th floor there are rooms on both sides of the Tower.

We were there in December and stayed in the Garden Wing looking over Bay Lake. We were able to go out on lawn (close the sand beach) and could see the fireworks from there and hear the music.

It was a magical end to a great vacation! :)
