OK, first of all, a disclaimer: Apparently during the cast preview of this exhibit, photography was allowed but that is not the case now. Cast members are crawling all over the place like Gestapo keeping people from taking pictures. Some of these are a little blurry and the angles on a few are sort of strange. Also, they all look like they were taken by a six-year-old. That's because I had the camera strap around my neck with the camera resting in front of my stomach as I took these. I couldn't see exactly what I was taking a picture of at the time so this is as good as I could do :(
Just remember how much I love you guys. I was risking my AP taking pictures like a madman where I wasn't supposed to. :D

I'm not going to post them all because Steve already has better pictures of a few things up on the site. Go to http://www.wdwmagic.com/100years.htm to see those pictures...

Well, they said the show was a "work in progress" as we entered and that what we were watching was not the final show. It was hosted by Mr. Eisner and narrated from audio clips of Walt himself. I liked it along with the rest of the exhibit a lot however, I'm not sure how excited the general public is going to be about seeing all this stuff. I don't think that most really care about his life enough to be incredibly entertained by all of this. I hope I'm wrong, though.

Second view of the animatronics section. As you can see at the bottom of the picture, they had little buttons you could press to control this animatronics movements. There were several of the buttons and each one controlled something different, like his eyes, his mouth, his neck or his torso area...

I wish this one had come out better. It was a recreation of the set where Walt revealed his Florida plans to the world using all the original maps. Unfortunately it was lit rather brightly causing the big white spot you see in the middle. I didn't use a flash for any of these pictures...:slurp:

Please do not take pictures inside this attraction. There are reasons behind just as there are in the animation tour and backstage pass.

I don't exactly feel too bad about this because I heard one cast member on duty explaining this to another one that was there as a guest. They were asking if the other one thought it was nicer "this way". Apparently they were allowed to take pictures during the cast preview and the cameras were all over the place making it hard for people to see things. They were restricting pictures of EVERYTHING, even the sign inside the door. It wasn't just in the areas where the exhibits were...

With the animation tour and backstage pass tour (more so the animation these days) I can see the reasons for it all since they are showing proprietary content that is currently unreleased but this is all stuff that is years and in some case decades old.

If it makes everyone feel better, though, I will refrain from taking any more pictures in this exhibit until/unless Disney policy changes in regards to this attraction... :(
