I was curious if anyone knows the acceptance rate or how difficult it really is to get accepted...what sort of qualifications are important?

Also, how difficult is it to become a character 'look-alike'.... I would DIE to be in the parades or a princess...would give ANYTHING.

Any other sort of advice would greatly be appreciated.... I am almost 21, have a 3-year relationship with my boyfriend that i am currently living with...i depend on him with everything and really think that this would be the experience of my life... would be scared to death, but is still my dream to work at disney. Thanks ahead!!!!!!

Hi there. Let me see if I can answer your questions.

1) No one knows for sure the acceptance rate. Just as long as you are in good standing with your school, are over 18, and just be yourself for the interview you should be fine.

2) The face auditions are VERY brutal. Disney is very particular with their face characters.

I echo what Joanna said. I think that if you are very animated, excited in your interview and state that you love working with people, then you good to go. Character look-alikes are much, much more difficult. But it never hurts to try. (Or does it?) One girl that lived above me thought she had it in the bag for being a princess look alike. No offense to her, bless her heart, but in my opinion she didn't have the face nor the body for it. When she never got called back, she left the program. I guess she took it to hard but again, you never know unless you do it.

All of my family and friends say I could get a 'look-alike' character if i really tried, then again you never know if people are just telling you what you want to hear!!! :brick:

The only bad thing is there's no trying. You walk into a room and they stare at you for five minutes..that's all. You stand there and smile...but they're very nice about it. But you would have to be somewhere around 5'6".

When I was down there they had one or two days of auditions. In one audition there was around 200 people and they had 4 girls called back and 0 guys. If a manager from entertainment ever suggests that you go to the audition, that's a good sign. That happened to me but I couldn't attend because I had wisdom teeth problems (and drugs!). I am also too short I think to be a prince. I am only 5'10".

They are very specific.
