One day?

I have a job interview in the Disney world area on Tuesday, march 26. I am planning on getting out about 3:30 or so. Planning on spending the day on property. I had thought about getting park tickets, but is it really worth it for just a few hours? I spent a couple days on my trip in November resort hopping. I am open to suggestions, any tips? Thanks for all suggestions.

Shopping at DTD is always fun! When is your next trip? You can get a ticket with no experation and use the rest next time!:)

I would think that you could get your Disney fix at DTD. If you can afford it, then go and buy a day ticket for MK; just to take a walk up and down main street and ride a couple rides. Let us all know how it went and what you did. I know a lot of us would love to hear about your adventure. :)

I had checked, the magic kingdom is open until 1am, so that isn't a terrible option. The problem w/shopping is that I don't like to do too much of it. About 20-30 min in world of Disney and I'm done. I thought about making some dining reservations or just going to resort bars, like poly and akl and enjoying ambiance. I'm sure I'll figure something out and it will be awesome.

If it was me, I'd grab a ticket and do MK. Even better if you have the energy and willing to stay to close the park, you can have a great time. But even if you are only intending on spending just a few hours, I'd still look forward to celebrating my scoring a great interview and impressing the heck out of the interviewer. What better way to end the day on a happy note. If by chance the interview doesn't go well, then at least you got to enjoy Disney.

DH and I went last March and only had one day in the park(s). We did a PH and began at DHS, then went to EPCOT, headed to DTD for dinner and Cirque, and then closed the night at MK...We felt it was well worth it...wish I could have done it this year...but we just got back in November and we're going in September...so ... I'm trying to be patient...

I would do DTD or try to pack a full day in at WDW. On our first day last week, we arrived at the park at 4 and packed, what felt like, a full 12 hour day of rides and dinner and parades and fireworks into less than 7 hours....and we didn't rush at all.

Its up to you if it is worth it or not. The park will be crowded. This past weekend MK closed due to so many people! If you just want to do a little and walk around and can afford it go for it!
