One Day Passes

Can one day passes be purchased at the hotels at WDW. My wife and are will be arriving at about midnight at the Wilderness Lodge and want to be able to get into the MK when it opens rather than wait in lines at the TTC. It sucks that they can't be bought online like multi-day passes.

At the resorts doesn't your room key still double as a park entrance ticket ? If this is still the case then you should be able to get a ticket at the reception

Don't count on that room key doubling for your park entrance ticket. That might only apply for length of stay passes for entrance to all parks. The last I heard, one park one day tickets are separate purchases, but if you are staying on property, you might be able to purchase them at the time of check in, even if at midnight.

The old one day, one park ticket is getting harder and harder to purchase in advance. Don't think that is a coincidence, when you can EASILY purchase a 4 day or longer multi-day ticket online.

You can purchase park tickets at your resort.

This applies to the 1, 2, and 3 day tickets for the 1 day, 1 park.
You can also buy the 4 and 5 day park hoppers as well as the 5, 6, and 7 day park hopper plus tickets.

You can also purchase the ultimate park hopper tickets at your resort (the only place you can purchase these).


As a Front Desk CM, we should ask you if you want to purchase tickets while you are checking in. On some reservations, the ticket screen will automatically pop up during the check-in process. On others, it won't but it is possible to get to the screen easily.


You can put any ticket onto your room key if you wish as long as they are sold on the front desk side of your computer. Everyone also has a guest services side that can be used.

If someone purchases tickets when checking in most people will usually sell them on the front desk side so the tickets will be on your room key.

If someone decides to come down later and purchase tickets later at the resorts, most people will just use the guest service side so you will end up with a seperate ticket.


The moral of the story is:

1. Mention you wish to purchase tickets when you check-in.
2. Ask to have the tickets put on your room keys.
3. Have a great time.

We don't sell annuals or seasonals of any sort at the resorts. They have to be purchased at the parks themselves.

I'm not sure about what they have there, but I doubt they have the VING encoders, the machines that print the plastic room keys and tickets that you buy in the resorts.

I think they probally just have machines that can print paper tickets.
