One Day Pass & Resort ID

I have always done the length of stay pass when I visit WDW. With the new ticket changes and only having a limited amount of time for the parks, I only can do a two day pass even though we are staying five days. Will they put one day passes into your resort ID or will you get a separate card for park entrance? I do not want to have to keep up with multiple cards. I like the convenience of one, but was not sure if they could specialize your resort ID to only allow it to be used one time at a park.

I don´t know if I understood correctly (and I´ve been so out of the loop too, so please excuse my ignorance)...
Is it possible now that if I go to Orlando for two days, I can get a two day hopper by staying at a hotel on property?
I´m confused... please enlighten me. Thanks!

I am sorry if I was unclear. I was just asking if I buy a one day pass for MK and a one day pass for Epcot can it all be encoded on my resort ID which is valid for five days instead of having multiple cards to carry around. I am a little confused myself with the magic your way ticket program because normally I just do the length of stay everytime we go. I am trying to decide where/when I want to buy those tickets. The convenience of being on the resort ID is making me want to wait.

Yes, you can have your 2 (1d-1p) tickets placed onto your room key. The 2nd day will expire 14 days after first day (unless you purchase no expiration) and can be used on any day.

Yes, you can have them placed on your room key, but ONLY if you purchase them upon arrival at the resort. They will not put prepurchased passes on a room key anymore.

Actually, yes you can now pre-purchase tickets by phone and have it encoded on your Key To The World card (room key.) If you booked your room directly by calling 407-W-DISNEY we can add you ticket to your reservation. If you have a room-only reservation and want to add tickets, the full cost of the ticket will be due at the time of purchase. When you call, enter at the prompt that you have an existing reservation, and enter the full reservation number when asked by the system. When you reach an agent simply say you want to purchase tickets and added to your room keys. Make sure you mention this before you start with what tickets and options you want.

Do keep in mind that Gail is correct in that the resorts cannot added a separately purchased ticket (one already printed) to your room key. The ticket must be encoded to your room reservation at the time of purchase.

Thanks much for the update. :) You made it much more clear. :)
