Onboard Booking Question

Hi, folks!

We're going on a cruise in a couple of weeks, and as always will book a placeholder cruise to take advantage of the 10% discount and onboard credit.

However, we're thinking of doing a family cruise including Susan's son and his girlfriend and their two kids in February 2015.

I know we can book 2 cruises since there are two of us (and actually - we're doing a 4/3 day combo so we could really book 4 :) ) but what I don't know is this - can we book the second cabin in their names and still get the discount?

I know we could "game the system" and put one of us on each of the reservations, but I'd prefer not to do that.

Anybody know?

Yes. I just booked a future cruise for my family in one stateroom and my parents in another; and my parent's stateroom is in their name - and we got the discount.

Sometimes the desk person will make you put one of your names in each reservation. That's not how it's supposed to work, but it definitely happens sometimes. Joe's experience is how it is supposed to work. :)
