1922-The Laugh-O-Gram black & white silent cartoon "The Four Musicians of Bremen" (adapted from the Brothers Grimm fairy tale) is released. It is written, directed, produced, and co-animated by Walt Disney.
1936-Disney's Mickey Mouse cartoon "Mickey's Circus" is released.
1953-Disney releases the Donald Duck short "The New Neighbor."
1958-Disney's 17-minute animated short film "Paul Bunyan" is released.
1995-The CD Walt Disney's Greatest Hits is released.
1997-Bob Penfield, the last of the original Disneyland opening day Cast Members, is honored for more than 42 years of service. To commemorate his retirement, Bob is honored with a window on Main Street displaying the legend "Club 55 School of Golf, Bob Penfield, Instructor."
Disney World's Coronado Springs Resort (featuring an American Southwest theme) opens with 1,967 rooms and suites.
1998-Disney A to Z: The Updated Official Encyclopedia written by Disney Archivist Dave Smith, is published by Hyperion Books.
2002-Once Upon A Toy, a 16,000-square-foot toy store, officially opens its doors at Disney World's Downtown Disney Marketplace.
