ON or OFF Site

which one is preferred? i personally like staying on-site cause you don't have to worry about driving to the park and paying for the ticket and when youre done walking for the past 12 hours and its time to go back to the hotel the last thing id want to do is drive. on-site you get the perks of going into the parks earlier or later depending on the day and park, transportation to and from the parks...plus it just feels more exciting and fun to me to stay on-site

It depends... I wouldn't be able to go to Epcot's birthday party except for the fact that I can use hotel points at an offsite hotel. Not going at all vs going and staying offsite? I can't imagine passing up a trip because my hotel room was located off of the property!

On the other hand, we're using timeshare points to stay onsite at Christmas and really looking forward to that.

And, all of you who say "I'm NEVER staying offsite again" - be very careful about saying what you will never ever do again. Sometimes in life when the facts are presented, the choice may not be your first choice, but it's still the best choice.
