hi,
i am having a brain freeze.
i just did my on-line check-in and put my credit card info on it. i know i can charge purchases to my room with it. is there anything else i do with it? and specifically, i will have free dining. can i put my tips for restaurant servers on this or do i have to pay cash for my tips? my mind went completely blank on this. thank you.

You can absolutely use it for tips and anything else on property!
Just to add to that... that's the beauty of having the dining plan and a credit card associated with your KTTW card... only one card to carry anywhere you go. You had it to them and say to use the dining plan credits and also to charge the tip to it. :)

You can use it for tips and purchases anywhere your key to the world is accepted, which is pretty much everywhere on property.

When you say charge the tip to it, do I write in the tip or are they throwing a mandatory % on it?

Here's a question. I normally don't link my CC to my KTTW card so.....can I give them cash at my hotel to add to my card? Kind of like a pre-paid debit. Anyone? Anyone?

You write it on the receipt. They only auto charge 18% for groups over 6, Tables in Wonderland holders, and tip is included for Cinderella's.

You can give the hotel cash. You credit card should not be charged for anything the cash covers. Some hotel clerks manage to screw this up on a regular basis, IME. I wouldn't advise giving different forms of payment in most hotels, lol. But Disney does really well.

As always, get a paper printout of your cash payment. Most people are honest, but not all. If you hand someone cash and don't get a receipt, you're asking for trouble. They'll give you a copy of your bill at that moment, with the cash payment listed. :)
