Im shocked that this wasnt reported with disney being under the
microscope. When we were at the boardwalk villas on our 2nd night as
we were walking towards the elevator we saw paramedics getting on
the elevator with an open stretcher. someone was hurt, maybe there
was a tower of terror incident at the boardwalk elevator.
haha. shocker this wasnt on the front page of the sentinel

oh and there was another one. at blizzard beach on 04-21 a child fell
on the sidewalk and had to be treated by lifeguards. why didnt the news
report this too. they are starting to slack these days

Doen't sound like big issues........I'm sure these things happen all the time. These things that can happen at your local mall!!!
I agree. If the news reported every person who fell on a sidewalk I would be on there every other week...

Should the news also report you stubbing your toe with this thread?
I'm guessing in both cases there was nothing serious to report and in the area of Orlando, the Sentinel doesn't have the staff to report on every scraped knee.

Rest assured if it was anything that was serious, the Sentinel would have immediately reported it -- they love reporting every single little odd incident that happens at WDW -- any dispatch of EMS is public record -- when they don't report it, nothing happens. Your local mall probably has three EMS visits a day due to falls, heart attacks, and other similar incidents. This happens at WDW too. Obviously there was nothing to report or it would have been.

Now I can ride Tower of Terror without the charge!!:D :sohappy:

I just got sick two days ago, two weeks after getting over my bronchitis, and after having a miserable and crappy day, you are the first person to actually make me laugh. Thank you. :)

There are about 4 Alpha calls a day, just at the location I work at. Something like a child falling on the sidewalk at WDW would never make even local news.

Last year I lost my balance while I was walking on the sidewalk after a heavy rain. Do not worry....I was fine, although I now fear the sidewalks at Disney. I have also cut my face while shaving with a razor that I brought from home. Again, I was fine. However my paranoia really set in because I thought that people might have been staring at the little knick that I had on my face. Maybe I cut myself because of the water I was using.

Man, I am going in a few weeks, but I dont think I feel safe there. I will be the one, slowly, walking through the parks in full hazard gear, as well as a giant bubble so that I dont get hurt

People either do not understand sarcasm, or have no sense of humor.
Nice try anyway!

Man from NJ sickened by Disney water...

Every time I go. I started budgeting $10/day for bottles, just so I don't end up drinking the "pool water" you get from the fountains...

Surprised that the water hasn't killed someone yet. How much chlorine can you ingest before you keel over?

Steve

P.S. Sarcasm, sort of... the water does a number on my innards.
