I am so freaking excited I finally got a PIN offer. I've been visiting WDW since 2011 and this is my first one!! Looks similar to the one they sent my daughter in early 2013 with the free dining for the month of February or a room discount for March, April, May and then late August in to September. I have to go check some dates and resorts now but one way or another I am determined to use this offer. So HAPPY:joyfull::D:)

So a lady in guest relations messed with it for a while, then told me when and if I wanted to book on the dates available to call back and give her name and they would have to honor the PIN code for me in my name because it came to my email.....

I get email pin codes all the time for my brother-in-law (we had a family reunion a few years ago and used my email address to coordinate everything.) I did call once about using the code (since it came to my email) but was told I could not use it unless my BIL was on the reservation. I also received the most recent pin (35% off) but noticed on the email it says "non-transferable." I wonder if that's Disney's way of backing out of an offer sent to ME.

Well..I was told to say Brenda in Guest Relations said I could use this pin code because she said Disney Destinations messed up using my grandson who has always been with me and on my itinerary for the offer, He is only in my profile. Disney knows of him only because he is on my profile...so I get to use mine. I think I am going to try to book room only memorial day weekend. It is significantly cheaper using this pin code for that weekend than the spring offer

I get nearly every pin. I would say if you want a pin your best bet is too log on to disneyworld.com at least once a month and always play around with booking options. Also, if you ever get selected while in park to do a survey do it. Last week I was selected to do a food survey at AK. Anything from disney complete it. That increaeses the odds

When I spoke to te guest relations lady, she told me pins are given based on several things;
-where u live-sometimes they try to "push" different areas around the US.
-your age
-having an account with them and "inquiring" about doing a vacation
-signing up for customized maps
-Disney surveys you get sent or do in the parks if you get asked to take one.
-time of year you are looking to book.

She said marketing looks at all of those and the best option was to look into booking but not actual paying. The marketing dept will see you are inquiring and if you don't don't book, they will send you one to entice you to actually book.

Try those out and see what happens!
