"Old Yeller" is on Hallmark RIGHT NOW

"Old Yeller" just started on the Hallmark Channel a few minutes ago. Thought I would let you all know. I still think that it is the best Disney live-action film ever made.

(Hallmark seems to show a classic Disney flick every Saturday morning about this time-- good to check every week.)

Definitely worth watching on DVD. The "Vault Disney" version (search on Amazon) has amazing behind-the-scenes stuff, also, that shows you all around the Disney Studios (including their Golden Oak ranch, where many films, including modern ones, were filmed).

Anyhow, "Old Yeller" is a true timeless classic story about growing up.

P.S.: I liked Narnia, too. Another classic story. It was made mostly by Walden Media, though: not so much Disney. Just distributed (and partly financed after Walden acquiered the story) by Disney. Still a good story. But I think "Old Yeller" still stands up as a children's classic. My personal favorite -- not a box office statement.
