Old Show in ToonTown

There was a show in ToonTown, many o years ago, probably 11 or 12, before they redid everything with the tents. It was a live action show inside that had audience participation. And from what I remember, was about 5 or 6 at the time, I absolutely loved the show. The show contained characters like the Rescue Rangers(my favorite which is why I loved the show) and Roger Rabbit.

The two hosts would also pick somebody out of the audience, and I forgot what happened but the audience member always got a Roger Rabbit Plush Toy.

Anyone else remember this? What else happened in the show? Remember the name?

This would have been when the area was know as Mickey's Birthdayland which then became Mickey's Starland after his 60th birthday ended. Looking at an old guide book it calls the show "Mickey's Magical TV World".

Yeap the one involving the Disney Afternoon Cartoons. It's such a shame that they seem to be slowly taking all of those shows off the air(Gummie Bears are gone completely). I really hope they brang them to DVD soon.

Mickey's Magical TV World!

Launchpad accidentally locked Scrooge into his vault when he was counting money, and so they called in the rescue rangers to blow him outta there!

I only remember this because I actually have it on tape... LoL...

I also remember the birthday show where they made the cake for him! And after the show, you went into the next section, and they all danced on the giant cake and there was confetti and stuff... wow... memories...

I'm watching this in its entirety on VHS right now, with pretty decent quality. :D Very '90s!

I was 7 at the time and looooved this. I remember Toon Town being very different at the time. There's so little information about this show anywhere on the web (or Mickey's Starland in general for that matter)- I'm surprised. I did find this thread, though. :D Leave it to WDW!

Where in Toontown was this? I seem to remember going through Mickey's house to get to the stage inside some tents behind his house. What stands where this show once was?

EDIT: I see info on this show here: http://waltdatedworld.bravepages.com/id27.htm ... however this isn't exactly the show I saw. It's similar, but there was no birthday cake or anything, there was a female host (there was a computer too, but it played a small role), Mickey was lost and they couldnt find him, and the Gummi Bears weren't in it. Did they update it later or something?

I`ve a few different versions of a show in Starland from the early 90`s on VHS - same stage, different props and plot.
