Old Key West Room Questions??

Hi folks :wave:

When we return to the world we will more than likely stay ot OKW and i have a few questions about the studio room;

Are all studios the same?

We stayed there last year and our kitchenette was where our fridge was but i have seen pics of the fridge being next to one of the beds and the layout looks alot different!

Are they different if the studio is meant to be part of a 1 or 2 bedroom room?

From my knowledge and stays, all the studios are designed the same.
Although they can be reversed, with the bathroom on the right or left depending on location. But otherwise, the same.

I love the design of the OKW studios. They don't have that standard rectangular shape. Kinda more like a triangle.

Even though square footage wise, they're no bigger than the other studio villas around WDW, they just seem bigger because of their unique shape.

I've only had a dedicated 2 bedroom once, and from what I recall the 2nd bedroom was quite a bit different than a studio. There was a closet where the outside door would have been and IIRC no kitchenette. The counter was there, but no appliances. I don't recall if the sink was still there.

A non dedicated 2 BR will have a regular studio and a 1 BR.

Not true, they are 40 sq ft bigger than SS amd im pretty sure OKW has some of the biggest rooms on property!

But yeah the rooms are great, fell in love with the resort last year :sohappy:

Great to know, not sure yet if ill be going for studio or 1 bedroom, but ggod to know the studios are the same :wave:

Actually, the OKW studios are about 40 square feet bigger. I think it was something like 390 square feet for OKW and 350 for the others.

And the 1 bedroom in OKW is 150 TO 200 sq ft bigger than SS!! :sohappy:

The pics you saw were probably of a handicapped accessible studio. Otherwise, all OKW studios are the same except for right and left orientation.
