Old Disney Souvineer videos.

So... I have two Disneyworld souvineer films.

One is of Epcot from 1983.
The other one is of WDW from 1981.
(both are older than me)

I haven't watched them for a while but I do remember tidbits. I should though watch them soon.

Anyone still have old souvineer films?

Let me say that the latest dvd for the resort has alot of stuff from the late 80s on it. It goes back and fourth from old video to newer stuff. You see the skyway in alot of the magic kingdom video.

I've got a tape with a Disneyland video from around 78-80, a WDW from the early 80's, and an Epcot from 83. It's great to watch the old attractions show up in the videos.

I have 3 old Videos I bought years ago in the Parks.

They are called:

1) A Day At The Magic Kingdom
2) A Day At EPCOT
3) A Day At MGM Studios

They were all available at the Parks in the early 90's.

It's fun to watch them over and over and see how much has changed.

Oldest Vacation Planning Video: 2000 (at my Grandparent's house)
Oldest Family Vacation Video: 1988 (before I was born!)

Oldest Video: 1979, had that corn 'The Magic of Walt Disney World' song in the beginning, it's actually a reall kick butt video. I also have that 1983 Epcot video with the Horizons preview. I also have The Day at.... videos for Epcot and Magic Kingdom. I also have a few others, I'll go look latter on tonight...

I have a great one from 1989 (almost as old as I am,) that my father got for test driving a GM car at Epcot. It's called "Make Your Own Magic," it's about thirty minutes long. Half of that time is spent on WoM, since it was a Ge video. The other fifteen minutes are spent on the rest of Epcot and the other two parks (at the time.) In addition to WoM, it has some great exterior and interior shots of Horizons, JII, and the original version of SSE.

I love the video A Day at the Magic Kingdom bt unfortunatlly my copy was ruined. I still grive over this. When i was little i used to watch it over and over again.

Yeah I also have those Day at...videos for Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, and EPCOT Center. My oldest video would have to be the mid-80s WDW video, followed by the 1990 and 1992 vacation planning videos, and the 1993 DVC grand opening tour video.

But who else has the Sing-a-Long video "Disneyland Fun?" That one's still a good time.

I'm trying to track down a copy of "Kraft Salutes Walt Disney World's 10th Anniversary". It was a TV special starring Dana Plato and a few other 80's TV stars.
