Old cartoons?

I love sitting with my son on the bleachers at Casey's, watching the cartoons while eating a hot dog.

Me too! That's what I did during my last visit to WDW. The cartoon with Donald in the boxing ring is a hoot. And the hotdog was yummy!!!

BTW, it looks like we just MIGHT be getting a new full-length animated film starring Mickey Mouse and Roger Rabbit (but no Oswald, grrrrr)....http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/say-this-isnt-so-p-p-p-please.860242/

I grew up on Disney Classic cartoons watching Mouse Tracks every morning on the Disney channel. If I could find a way to get my hands on a collection of all those classics, I'd be a happy girl! We also had a game with 3 different sections that involved playing the tape on the tv and it showed different cartoons. I remember one specifically was Chip and Dale pranking Donald by stealing his popcorn he was trying to string up for his Christmas tree. Ahhhh, the good old days.... I sure miss them!

Is there anywhere in the parks you can still watch the old cartoons? I know Exposition Hall used to show them before it turned into a M&G, but it doesn't anymore, right?

The McDonalds on Buena Vista Boulevard plays them on a giant wall of screens.

The last time we were in Casey's (this past Saturday, to get hot chocolate!) the screen wasn't working. The audio was still playing but the screen was just black. Hopefully not a sign of things to come.
