OKW vs. Saratoga Springs

Hey my family is going to WDW at the end of July - through a lot of circumstances we may need to change our room arrangements to use our passholder discounts at Old Key West or Saratoga Springs - any thoughts on which you would choose? How's transportation? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

How many rooms are you planning on getting? AND how many people in each room?

My fiancee and I bought into SSR. The first time we used our points, we considered going to OKW. Trouble is, their studios only come with two queen-sized beds. Staying at SSR, with one queen-sized bed and a pull-out couch wenever needed to pull out because it was just the two of us = more actual living space. But if there are going to be 4 of you staying in a studio, you'd probably rather have the two beds. There are very few truly comfortable pull-out couches, ya know?

If, however, you have the cash necessary to either go for a larger unit or more than one room, location and amenities will make a difference. Both SSR and OKW have boats to Downtown Disney, but depending on your room's location, SSR is also walking distance. SSR is newer, and looks it, but still under construction so you might get some construction noise, or unsightly earth-movers. Plus, if you'd like the option of eating a nice sit-down meal at your resort, SSR doesn't have a full-service joint yet.

So in other words...my opinion is absolutely worthless.
