OKW question

My family and I have never stayed at OKW. We are going to try to get in at the seven month window. (Currently booked at SSR). Is there a specific section of the resort that we should request based on it's location? ie, closer to the bus stop, closer to the main pool and dining,etc? Thanks.

Request to be up near the hospitality house, there is a separate reservation for that request, so it may or may not be available.

OKW is very spread out and usually it is best to have a car to get sround within the resort. The bus system is decent and you can also take a boat ride to DTD, which is very nice and relaxing.

We always try to request a room near a bus stop. We also like to be by one of the smaller pools and not by the main one. we like turtle pond building 33, 35 or close to it.

I'd request to be off of the main road. Our only stay there we were in a studio that was just a few feet from the road that leads to the back of the resort (Peninsular Rd?). Every bus, service vehicle, and gas powered golf carts pulling towel carts seemed to shake the room as they passed.

we are staying at okw for the first time in a month a half. while we didn't request it, the gentlemen on the other end of the line offered it to us, he said thats the best way to go.
