Ohana Reservations...???

I actually got a reservation for one of the nights we will be there... the only thing is that it is at 9:55PM But I figured that I better snag it before someone else did. I will continue to check a few times a day to try and catch an earlier time. But seriously... who eats dinner at 9:55PM??? You wouldn't be finished eating until 11:00PM at the earliest!!! :dazzle:

That time is actually pretty good when you think about it. You can't really do much after eating at O'Hana cause you are stuffed and unable to move. At least you won't waste any good touring time and you can go straight to bed after dinner. Or....you can get a drink at the bar after dinner and hang out in the Poly until you can actually walk to your car or the Disney bus.

My wife and I are going to WDW the second week away (28 days!) and for the last week or so I have been trying to get ADR's for Ohana and have been unsuccessful. All 4 day nights that we have available are all booked solid for dinner! I assumed a month ahead of time would be sufficient time to get reservations... I mean come on, it isn't Cinderella's Royal Table or Chef Mickey's. I talked with a CM and they said to check back the week of because that is when people tend to cancel is at the last minute. True or not? Am I just out of luck?:brick:

I totally recommend that you just keep calling back everyday up to the trip trying to get a reservation. We did that on our trip two years ago and something finally opened up the week before we left. I would have another ressie booked as a back up just in case you aren't able to get on there.

Well after checking many times a day for the past week or so I finally landed an earlier dinner at 8:55PM (which for some reason seems far better than the one at 9:55PM even though I realize they are only an hour apart). We are pretty excited! I am actually still going to try and get reservations a bit earlier so we can eat and be able to watch the fireworks at the MK from the beach outside the poly. But even if I don't I wont be too disappointed as I am perfectly content with 8:55PM dining!

8:55 is def better than 10pm. Maybe I should keep trying to get a reservation.
