There are two of us, myself and my daughter age 23, and I am thinking of going to Ohana our first night. Are there table for two, or do you sit in a long table with other diners?

I am not 100% positive if they have 2 tops at Ohana but at worst you will be at a 4 top by yourselves. Ohana does not do family seating like Teppan Edo or Biergarten does

My Mum and I ate at Ohana on our last visit and we were given a table for 2 from which we could see Cinderella Castle, we were able to watch it as it changed colour as the evening grew darker!
It was wonderful to watch even from a distance

we were at a 2 top last december. it was on the window side of the aisle they use to circle the room. the only down side was that it was basically turn one in the coconut race. i pulled up my feet quickly when i saw them coming, my sister was facing them as head on as i was and took a broom stick to the shin but from a really little girl so it just startled her didn't hurt.

We have always had a four top along the windows with a great view. You will not be asked to sit with others, but do request a window seat, as the views are amazing.

So what if you are traveling alone? I don't have any ADR's yet for my trip since it is more than 180 days away but I always wondered this. I love Ohana and would like to return but feel self-conscience. What about the other restaurants?

Pretty much the same thing....you will be sat at a 2 or a 4 top by yourself if you are dining alone.

Thanks for all the responses. When I tried to make an on line reservation it said this restaurant doesn't make reservations. Weird.

Ohana most certainly does take reservations. Getting in without one is next to impossible. What date are you looking for?

My husband and I went to Ohana, and we were seated at a table for 2. At Biergarten you sat at a table with other people.

So I tried pulling up all the restaurants instead of specifying Ohana, and it came up...Nothing available. Oh well. Thanks everyone. will try somewhere else. It is for September 3, the day we arrive and won't be going to a park that day, so I thought I would do table service at a hotel or perhaps downtown disney. We get into orlando about 3pm. We usually do Narcoosees, but I thought somewhere different would be nice for a change.

Ohana is one of the hardest reservations to get, with most being booked at the 6 month mark when they open. You have two options if your heart is set on it...check a few times a day and see if anyone cancels. Recently, they changed the check in procedures and now have a special walk up check in area at the podium. Not sure what the success rate with that is, but if you don't mind waiting you might get a table.

We went without a reservation last August. They were able to seat us and it was only about a 15 minute wait (they quoted 60) so it is worth a shot if it is just two of you. We did have our honeymoon buttons so I don't know if that factored into them accomadating us without reservations.

The last 5 times we were there, we had no reservations. We walked up at 4:30 or so and were seated anywhere from 10 min to 30 min once they started seating at 5:00. This was for a party of two, in Oct, Dec, and Apr. We plan on doing it again the first week of Oct again since I couldn't get a reservation.

I don't think I want to take a chance on a walk up. Booked Kona instead for the night of the day we arrive. is it Good, yes? no?
