Hello all. I need help once again. As far as being romantic and having great food which would you recommend... 'Ohana or the dinner show at Luau Cove?

Some may say Luau Cove but I think its overrated and highly expensive. However, if its something that you really want to experience you should try it out as it will likely be romantic. However, you can have the same romantic ambiance at ohana especially if you have a late reservation and can have a table by the window overlooking the castle in time for the fireworks. I say go for Ohana

We did the Luau on our honeymoon. I wouldn't necessarily call it romantic, but I wasn't overly impressed with Victoria and Alberts either.

Interesting - I hear nothing but 5 stars about V&A. What made it not overly impressive? I have looked at the menu and prices and it looks like absolutely nothing I would be interested in even if I were celebrating or in love (but that is just me).

'Ohana was always one of my favs, but I'm not liking some of the recent changes, having said that, I always did enjoy the food (and I was one who ate mostly chicken and shrimp) The Luau was one of those *did it once, dont neet to do it again* experiences. They have, however, changed the menu up a little. Im not sure I would call either romantic though. 'Ohana can get noisey. I would think, either Cali Grill or Narcoossee's would be considered more romantic.

Food at Luau Cove was terrible. The show was also tacky. We will not be doing it again. I've never been to Ohana as my group does not like family style options, but others on here like it. Kona is a great (and also less pricey) option, although I don't think it's romantic per se. Definitely try it for breakfast, though

Of all the places we have dined -- romantic -- prefer Citrico's at the Grand Floridian. Especially if get a table by the windows. Dim lights, relatively quiet (by Disney standards).
However, if you want real dim lighting - Mexico is the pace to dine - especially with a table along the rail by the river.

Ohana!

I got on the meaasge board a few years ago to stop someone from going to the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show.

It's long, boring, expensive and the food is bad.

Ohana is great atmosphere and the food is awesome.

Neither. Ohana is too loud and hectic and Luau Cove has got to have the worst Luau in the history of mankind (they need to send someone to Hawaii to learn something). I agree with PPs who mentioned either Cali Grill or Narcoosee's for a romantic evening.

I actually ended up choosing completely different things for our lunch and dinner for the day in question. We're having lunch at Beaches and Cream, then dinner at Bongo's Cuban Cafe.
