'Ohana Lei Question

I'm posting here b/c it's not regarding food We've eaten breakfast and dinner at 'Ohana, but only received flower leis at breakfast. We have an early dinner ADR at 'Ohana on our upcoming trip and the plan is to head into MK afterwards for MSEP, Wishes, etc. I love having us in glow accessories, and I was thinking it might be fun to take glow sticks and string them through flower leis (i.e. GLOW LEIS ). BUT- I don't want to buy leis (or bring our old ones) if the odds are in our favor to get leis at dinner.

So, have you received flower leis at 'Ohana dinner? - and were we just an uncommon exception? OR- is it pretty common to not receive them?

Yes they do hand them out at dinner as well. So the odds are definately in your favor!!

We haven't ever gotten a lei at 'Ohana at dinner. I guess we weren't lucky, oh well.

Been there at dinner twice, and we have never gotten lei's.

We had breakfast in September and we DID get them. So I guess it's luck of the draw...?

We've gotten them at breakfast both of the times we ate their, but in our 3 dinner experiences we never gotten them. I guess it's luck

Hmmmm....feeling like I better bring leis from home just in case. Thankfully, I have 4 from our last 'Ohana breakfast and we just had a Hawaiian day at work- so that should help beef up my lei supply.

We've eaten dinner at 'Ohana twice and gotten them both times. We've even asked for a coupla' extra ones and it was no problem. Although, a Lapu Lapu is awesome, in and of itself, it sure seems to taste just a little more "Lapu Lapu'y" while wearing a lei...!
Just ask...unless there is some GOOD reason for a major lei shortage, I'm sure you'll get as many as you want...!

We've eaten there for both breakfast and dinner and only received the lei's at breakfast. When we went this February, we didn't see them anywhere because I was looking for them.

Are you referring to why only a few people get lei'd at dinner as opposed to everyone getting lei'd at breakfast? Apparently an interesting Polynesian tradition no one knew about.

We did the hula lesson and got leied. Twice. In one night.

All you need to do is ask at the front desk or ask your Server at dinner to get a lei at the poly.

It is only 1 TS at 'Ohana's both breakfast and Dinner, the Spiriof Aloha (Dinner Show) is 2 TS

I was wondering the same thing. We had it done at breakfast, but none of that when we went there for dinner. I'm wondering if the enhanced Photopass options have had some influence on this.
