Ohana lately?

We used to love it years ago. After many blah experiences gave it up. It was the only reservation available a few months ago and we reluctantly went back. It was amazing! The food was incredible. Three of us are vegetarians and the vegan options were sensational (they have had many lackluster vegetarian options over the years from frozen vegetables to some weird pasta). My husband is a carnivore and said his meal was as good as back in 2000. I would recommend giving it a shot! 'Ohana is back.

We were just there a couple weeks ago. This was the best meal we've had there in years. The steak was actually tender, not chewy. The shrimp was a good size. The noodles had some flavor. Definitely an improvement over 2022! My only small complaints were the chicken had more char to it than it needed, but was still good, and the continued lack of bananas in the sauce for the bread pudding. I really miss the "bananas foster" sauce that was replaced by the now generic caramel sauce.

We recently had dinner here. It was a bit of a mixed bag. Most the food was okay, and it was more than enough food for us. The one big disappointment steak was so tough as to be inedible. We chose to eat all the shrimp over the steak, and that was more than enough food. Service was very good this time, unlike some prior visits. We were even seated within a reasonable amount of time, which was better than most prior visits.

The bathroom area was a mess though. Was glad we got the bread this visit. (One visit we didn't get any.) The current salad is just okay. It was better back when it had mandarin oranges/different dressing. Portion of noodles was a bit small, but again, we had more food than we could eat. A good deal of food went to waste when we were done eating. The chicken did not look particularly appetizing, but it tasted better than it looked.

This is what has been pushing us away from most buffets and signatures lately. I’m not paying $65 for my 11-year olds unless it’s a VERY special occasion.
I'm not paying $65 for my petite.adult self to eat at a buffet. Anywhere. And I'm in NYC, so I've been used to >$30 entrees.for some years now. I'd be ok with paying NYC prices at WDW, but there's no way I'm paying above NYC prices.at WDW.

Take the monorail to Contemporary and eat at Steakhouse 71..very good food, well worth the price. I’ll be honest, we last ate at Ohana about 7 years ago for dinner for the first time…I wasn’t impressed and wouldn’t return.
I'm glad you enjoyed Steakhouse 71. I had high hopes, based on the greatly missed Concourse Steakhouse, but 71 was a huge letdown.

I've had two meals.at O'hana, a dinner and a breakfast. They were fine, but not enough to make me want to go.back a.second time. Last time I ate.there was 2016.

Made a special trip from Universal for bread pudding and fireworks. The bread pudding was a disappointment.
