Ohana for first or last dinner?

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
If I were staying at the Poly I'd consider getting The Polynesian Twilight Feast from the room service menu instead of actually going to 'Ohana.

Yes but it's 2 TS dining credits per person if on the dining plan to do the room service option. Paying OOP yes it's a little cheaper. Even paying OOP we rather going to 'Ohana itself being you get unlimited all you care to enjoy, and we like being waited on. But this is indeed an option. ;)

...we like to end with 'Ohana. We always spend our arrival day/evening at the MK and everybody is all hyped up and impatient to visit the favorite attraction(s) they've been dreaming of for months, so if we do a TS dinner, we do it inside the park (e.g., Skipper Canteen, Be Our Guest, or a CS) so we don't feel like we're cutting into our attraction time unnecessarily. Otherwise, we'd be dragging the kids out of the park for dinner (who am I kidding? DH would be dragging the kids and ME out of the park) while they/I whine, "but we just GOOOOT here!" and then we'd be tempted to wolf down dinner so we can hurry up and get back.

By our last night, when we've relaxed fully into a slower vacation mode, and have been to every park and done everything we want to do, we're all much more in the mood to appreciate a long, leisurely dinner that requires a little bit of travel and a trip through bag check on the way back.

Id love to hop over to MK for a few rides and an easy dinner, but its a party night so thats a no go. Probably best not to push too much on travel day with a little kid anyway!

I agree the first day at Ohana with a later Dining Reservation would be best, especially since you will be staying at that resort, tired from your travels, and also not going into the parks that day as well.
