Ohana experience tonight!

I've never been to Ohana but it's all-you-care-to-enjoy family style, correct? Why would you leave without eating your fill? I'm confused about this comment: "After we were done eating they asked if we would like any shrimp or steak!! Very disappointing meal experience from start to finish." Did you want shrimp or steak? If so, why did you fill up on chicken?

I'm sorry to hear about your "wing disappointment"! They're one of my favorites, too. Appropos of nothing, if you want to try to make them at home in the meantime, this recipe is absolutely delicious and spot-on: http://www.thedisneychef.com/2014/09/honey-coriander-chicken-wings.html (We had a luau-themed birthday party for my daughter this past weekend, and the 'Ohana-style wings were a huge hit -- absolutely delicious. I roasted them in the oven a couple of hours before party time, tossed them in the sauce -- at least, what sauce was left after my liberal "tastings" -- and kept them warm in a crockpot.)

I have made them at home too, they turned out pretty good. I might have to give it a go again soon. The thing with eating them at 'Ohana is I don't have to cook them or clean up the mess! ;)

We love Ohanas! It is a must do for us and we have never had a bad meal or service at either dinner or breakfast. As for the bread....we are always either handled a basket full in the way to our table or told to pick one up. I personally don't care for the bread. I don't want to fill up on that and not be able to enjoy all the other wonderful things they serve.
