Ohana at the Poly

Sometimes CM's have stood at the entrance handing them out as guests entered the lobby. It's hit or miss.

On our recent trip they were giving them to anyone who wanted one after the coconut race concluded.

This might have been the case with us, come to think of it. I'm sure the boys got them for the coconut race.

We went there for both breakfast and dinner in February and did not get one. The kids were wearing them during the parades but our DS was too "cool" for the parade this year.

I think we still have 5 or 6 at home from previous trips.

Got leis last week, but they weren't give out to everyone. For some reason we got them.

Last December (2014) they invited guests to dance and dd and hubby got leis at the end of the dance.

This is from 2006. Totally forgot they gave these out! Want to go back to Ohana.. such a good dinner from what I remember!

We always get one at dinner when we participate in the dancing. I don't remember getting one at breakfast.

We always get one if the lady is there with the ukulele. We got some in October. She was there and giving them out as usual everytime we go.

When she comes out with them just get up and go get one from her she does not go to every table to do it so participating in her activities is the best way to get one or asking she is really nice.

We stayed at Poly in January. Got a lei when we checked in, but didn't get one when we ate in Ohana the next night. However, I got all the grilled shrimp and steak I could eat (please, sir, can you just leave the steak and shrimp skewer on my plate? I really love 3 feet of grilled shrimp). BTW, the leis are plastic.....
