Problem was fixed with the deletion of two fonts that I had downloaded and installed today...

Why the fonts caused such a problem, search me.

But I'll tell you, after spending a few hundred dollars to purchase the full version of Photoshop, I was pretty scared when it wasn't opening!

LoL..yeah..i had the SAME exact problem a while ago..one font i had was causing PS to crash on loadup..scared the bejesus out of me...

apparently my problem was too caused by just ONE font...

it's only available on one website and has to do with fans of only just one thing (er-, well, rather, music band... )

I'd tell you what font it is, but then I'd also give away the name of the band, and become all embarrassed! lol
