"oh my god I think we blew the budget!!" - A November pre trip report

Hi all. Never done one of these before. Always read everybodies ptr's and trip reports. Never left comments always admired from afar but here i am having a go.

The Who

Myself - Karl
My Wife - Andrea
The Kids - Aimee & Adam.

The Where

Two weeks stay at Old Key West resort.

The When

1st-15th November

This holiday was booked at the end of may last year. We got 40% off the price of our stay at Old Key West free disney dining plan and a free $300 disney gift card. Since then andrea has been planning and re-planning those two weeks over and over again. Finally at the start of may this year everything fell into place. On 5th may our 180 day window opened and when 12 noon (GMT) chimed i was on that phone and ringing my happy place, with our first ten days worth of adr's booked i was happy. Over the next four days i was back on the phone making our adr's for our remaining four days holiday.

Itinerary

31st October

travel down to manchester airport where we will be stopping at a travelodge for the evening.

oh yeah forgot to mention our kids know absolutely nothing about this holiday. Managed to keep it quiet for a year so far.

1st November

flight leaves manchester 11am ish(gmt) arrive at orlando int at approx 3pm (U.S. time). Hopefully catch DME to Old Key West check in and crash.:snore:

2nd November

Have an 8:15am adr at CRT
Then aimee and adam are booked in at the pirates league at 11:30.
Have tickets bought for MNSSHP.
Oh my what a first day.:sohappy:

3rd November

8:05 adr at tusker house
spend the rest of the day AK.

4th November

Breakfast at Chef Mickeys.
lazy day today doing nothing until
epcot adr rose & crown 6:30 ish.

5th November

AK Breakfast at rainforest cafe
Slowly going onto Hollywood Studios for late lunch adr at mamma melrose which includes seating for fantasmic.

6th November

Non Disney day. Spending the day busch gardens today.

7th November

Breakfast at Epcot. Akershus for just after 8am. Spend the rest of the day at epcot.

8th November

Hollywood Studios for breakfast Hollywood & Vine then onto Blizzard Beach. In the evening we have adrs at the yachtsman for our anniversary dinner. Have got reservations for adam & aimee at the sandcastle kids club that evening.

9th November

Either Seaworld or Aqautica haven't decided yet. Hollywood studios in the evening to hopefully see the osborne family lights.

10th November

Full day at discovery cove then back to MK hopefully to do the dessert party.

11th November

rest/shopping day.
evening meal booked at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

12th November

Another big day today
Breakfast booked at O'hanas. Then onto MK for Aimee booked into BBB and Adam booked into PL and have tickets for MVMCP.

13th November

Rest day at Blizzard Beach. Evening meal booked at O'hanas.

14th November

MK breakfast booked at Crystal Palace & evening meal booked at LTT

15th November

Checkout day
Lunch booked at T-rex.
Then board bus for airport at 4ish I think, then fly back home.
