Offsite Dinner Shows

It is just me and my wife going (we are in our 40's) but we may bring my mother to one of the shows (she is 71). Last trip we went to Medieval Times and we thought it was pretty good. We are thinking about 1 or 2 dinner shows for our stay at Disney. We have done the Spirit of Aloha and the Hoop De Doo multiple times. We are also doing a murder mystery train dinner show in Fort Meyers before heading over to our week at Disney.

I did go to the Pirate's Dinner show many years ago and was not impressed.

Options include:

Capone's Dinner and Show
Sleuth's Mystery Dinner Show
Treasure Tavern
Pirate's Dinner Show (It has been a while)
Other options?

Thanks

Joe

I have been to Capone's and it was very nice. Based in a 1920-1930's speakeasy, gangsters and flappers greet you at the door, serve you during dinner and then put on a gangster style 'variety' show where they interact with the audience with a little bit of comedy. The food was very good...Italian/American BUFFET includes entrée, dessert, drinks INCLUDING BEER! If you decide to go buy your tickets online and get them for 50% off ($35.30 including tax) There also is a VIP package you can buy for $48.14Including tax. The VIP experience includes guaranteed VIP seating in center section or choice of private tables, early admission to Al's Four Deuces Lounge with casino chips for table games or early admission at show time upon arrival, and choice of a beverage option in a souvenir glass in the lounge. Go to alcapones.com to make you online reservations! You won't be disappointed!! HINT: IF they ask you for the password to get into the building, look on your ticket. They even use the little sliding door in the door to greet you, guess they are looking for the Fuzz!? LOL!

Went to Capones a few years ago. Never again. Crowded, unorganized, tables close together, food area was messy and not that good. Show was fair.

I went to capones and I probably won't go back. We waited outside for a while and thought we were gonna miss the show because it was past the time. Since ya'll are older you won't be surprised by how kinda inappropriate the show is. Be aware you will be sitting next to other people you don't know and the food is mediocre.

What caused the wait outside? Inappropriate in what way? Sitting next to others isn't a deal breaker for us, the food on the other hand may be.

They just made sexual jokes and played off of curse words. I went with my little cousins that's why I don't think it will be a problem for adults. The food is better at Olive Garden than Capone's plus it's a buffet (it moves slow). We are still unsure about what caused the wait outside but because of the password thing you have to wait until the group in front of you has gone through.

Treasure Tavern is FANTASTIC! It's more mature, so not for kiddos. They also have a 3 Musketeers show that is very funny, and have added Cirque Magic, which is impressive and great for kiddos.

Slueth's by far, has the best food. And it is just well done, over all. True professionals. And each show is different, which is impressive.

A manager of mine got food poisoning at Capone's, which can happen anywhere, but it has stuck with our company.

We are definitely leaning towards Sleuth's for the night out with my mom and maybe the Titanic Dinner experience for just me and the wife.
