Found out where it is being built! If you live here and want to drive by and take a peek, this is the exact location here in Orlando. I had to search contractors, found that the Nassal company was the most likely and then searched the address on maps.live.com (sneaky huh?) see the picture link below.

The Nassal Company 415 W. Kaley Street, Orlando, FL

yellow circle is where the hogsmeade structure is standing in the pictures.

Wow so they build these and then haul them off to the park? Crazy

And it's funny, I pass by that location where this is being built all the time on my way to the cardiologist. It's a terrible neighborhood. Never would have guessed future Harry Potter attractions were being built there lol

All of the castle 50th anniversary decor was built at that location.
Check out their work and clients.

On another note, after close examination of the pictures, I am not convinced that this is something that will be transported to the park. I feel more confident that this might be an "execution mockup" to set the standards and techniques, colors that will be passed on to the larger staff that will be put on to carve the concrete, paint it etc.

I learned from an imagineer at Disney that this is how they handled things on Expedition Everest. Lots of people sculpting the mountain were described as "average people from the contracted construction company who were trained in the techniques" as the project was so vast.

If you look at the closeups that show the ground, you will see mock-ups of the actual pavement and how it changes from large cobbles next to the building to smaller cobbles. Thin concrete mock pavement cannot or would not be transported to the site, no way no how. It can only be example stuff for the artists to approve and the concrete company to learn from.

Sorry to be a bore, but I am totally fascinated by the design and execution of such memorizing fantasy and whimsy.

And might I add, is this not top of the craft design and execution? If they pull this off, and it looks like they will, I will be wearing sunglasses and weeping when entering this new island of IOA. Someone on here said "I doubt it will look as good as the pictures" and I hoped he was wrong. This looks hopefull!
