official May park hours

Hi everyone: Have been on the general discussion board for a few questions and so suggested I call disney information. They do have the official May park hours on their system and could give me the times. I asked why they were not of disney's official sight and was told there goal was to be about two months in advance since 9/11. I said that was ok but do you realize we are less than 30 days out. Said he would notify the powers that be. Even the recorded info on the phone said that they had the hours only till 4/30 so someone has droped the ball. However, I will share with you what I was told about the May hours. We are arriving 5/4 and leaving 5/11 so did not get the entire month, sorry. Here goes: Magic Kingdom May 4, 9am to 10 p.m/May 5th,9am to 6pm/ May 6,9am to 7 pm/ May 8-9-10, 9am to 6pm. For those who talked about the Grad nights in May he said he saw only one scheduled on May 3
MGM- May 4, 9am to 8:30 pm/ May 5-6-7-8-9-10 9 am to 9 pm Fantasmic will be held May 1-4, at 8:30pm and May 5-24, 9pm
Amimal Kingdom- May 4-11, 9 am to 5pm.
Epcot- Future World in the May 4 to 11 area 10am to 7pm,World showcase same days 12 noon to 9 pm hope this helps

Riverman again: these hours are the same I see as what was reported on intercot.com. Disney will hopefully update their web site soon.

I have to say that this is fairly disappointing news. My wife and I are going down in the beginning of May (May 5-16) and this is a decent cut from last year when we went at this same time. I actually happened to find last years hours when going thru my stuff trying to plan for this comming trip.

A fairly signifigant difference in MK and EC hours, the others not so much. Plus EE was in effect back then. I am sure we will enjoy ourselves, but it is just disheartening to see. I have some hope that maybe as this month presses on, things may change.

Gee! Sounds like it is going to be pretty crowded that week in May. I am going May 4 - 14th. Maybe they will extend the hours as we get closer

Ill also be there 4-11th. With a 20 month old, 3 year old and the in-laws. Should be interesting.:lol:
