Official "Happy 5/5/05" thread!

I just wanted to come out of hiding (finals week) to wish ya'll a happy 5/5/05, even though the real festivities are hours away! Its officially 5/5/05 on the east coast, so I wanted to wish you a happy 50th celebration, and of course, a happy Cinco de Mayo!!!! Cheers!



ps: I want to wish all the college students good luck on their finals, as most of the colleges are in their final week, or approaching it!!! Good luck and kick.....!!

LOL... great minds think alike! Happy 5/5/05!!! I cant wait till the real party begins and to hear the special announcements theyve been talking about! It better be good! The big day has finally arrived!

My school had found a bomb threat claiming that that a wing of our school would blow up today. For the outcome, highlight here: Well, I'm still posting here, aren't I?

We were on lockdown today, so there was virtually no learing. What was strange was that it was peaceful today. Practically all of the troublemakers skipped school. I wish we had lockdown more often. It's so...calming.

Thats terrible! That happened to me my junior year of high school, a little after September 11th. But I swear, my school did the stupidest thing.... They cleared the gymnasium first, and evacuated the whole school (were a big school, were 4-A) to the gym, where we stayed for hours. They put the whole school in one building.... I guess to make it easier to blow the whole school up! But as always, it was a false alarm. But I am glad they take everything thing seriously and take no precautions. Glad to hear nothing happened!
