We haven't had a hockey thread a some time so I figure I'll send one out there.

How about those Bruins? 7-2 against the Flames tonight and we don't even have 3 of our top guys.:sohappy:

I thought hockey did not start until spring? - Playoff hockey is one of the most exciting things in sports, but the regular season -Yuk! That being said I am just upset the Flyers haven't played well in their last ten games. Atleast their still in first place.

true, the playoffs are when the real season starts but what teams would go into the playoffs if you didn't have a regular season

Common almost every team makes the playoffs. You have to be pretty bad not to. Just pick the names out a hat.

Yeah ... but then there's home-ice advantage that has to be determined and who gets paired up with who...

---I know I know---the thing is that during the playoffs the players bring it to a different level. Plus there are too many teams that make it in. They should shorten the season to about 60 games and only allow 4 teams from each conference to make the playoffs. This would make for a much more enjoyable regular season. (and get rid of the two line pass while your at it.)
