*Next thing you're going to jump down my throat for telling you Santa Claus isn't real*
So? We all may be adults here, but this is a board about Disney. Personally, i believe in magic, especially Disney magic, and part of that Disney magic is accepting that Mickey Mouse walks around his little world of fantasy that he invites others to join him in. The Disney characters are a palatable essence of the Magic that Disney World represents. To envision them in any other way is going counter to the image that Disney World produces, counter to the feelings of the parks, counter to the Magic that Walt himself tried to preserve
To start a thread that tries to find out how many times a character is seen without their heads is a miscarriage of what i feel this website is trying to do, be a FANSITE for WDW. Fans of Disney know the magic, and most of us accept the characters for who they are, even those of us that have been in the Utilidors.
Worst yet, all it takes is one child to read this, and have their fantasy deminished, to cheapen this whole forum.
Personally, one of my favorite park activities is to sit and watch as kids run up to meet Mickey, or Aladdin, or Goofy; because, in that split-second of watching the joy and revelation of that child that still believes in wonder, then, that's all it takes to get me
to believe that magic is still real.
Don't take that away...
