Pre-Trip Off To Work I Go

Once again duty calls and I'll be heading to WDW to work! Am I a Cast Member? Nope. But I will be bringing a dog to train!

Who? This guy!

His name is Sherman, aka Sherm, aka Shermie, aka P Sherman, 42

Sherman's mom works with my sister and they are good friends so in am exciting twist, my sister will be joining us as well!

Sherman's mom, Patti, travels all around the country and asked if id be willing to fly down with them so she gets some training with him and learns the dos and don'ts of bringing the dog to the airport and airplane.

I prefer driving but agreed to flying down to get some extra training in with her and Sherm. There is a fun bonus. She flies first class and got my ticket to join them so ill get to be fancy for the flight down lol!

Where are we staying? Bay Lake Tower

When are we going? In 2 days! Sunday

There is a potential for snow here in Georgia on Sunday. C (my wife) and I soooo look forward to snow days to just stay home and enjoy the weather amd eat and make some cold day cocktails and watch movies and we may get one good snow per year down her in GA if we're lucky. But missing snow day for Disney is a fair trade off.

Soon we were boarding. Sherman gave the seat a quick test run for comfort

I think he approved.

I settled in. Since it was an international flight, it was a large plan which mean the larger first class seats. Score!

Soon we were airborne. I enjoyed some classic Friends episodes

Sherm took a nap to rest of before our Big day

We landed and grabbed our bags

We used a car service and the driver met us at baggage claim and was parked right outside. It was very convenient

We arrived to rainy BLT

We stopped at Disneys Polynesian Resort and Spa for a quikc drink

Sherm is official Tambooo card carrying club member now @Tuvalu @lostprophet

I was instructed to look for a blender at the bar. Im not one to pass up a good mission while at WDW so off I went!

This was for @Tuvalu as shes looking forward to a specific drink

Been at the parks this morning but let me get back to light speed (To Endor) trip reporting

I take exception to that last comment, nothing weird about being comfortable, settled in and cheering at the top of your lungs for your favorite team, hope you had a great evening. I am really enjoying the trip report and all the pictures, keep it up!

Day 2 Monday

We were up early to rope drop HS.

Hopped on the bus with Big Sherm

While the masses headed to SDD and Rise of the Resistance, we met up with @Darstarr and started with some classics instead

The girls were doing some type of glam bot that requires swinging your hair around

Sherman did not get a good report card for his first stay in the kennel. The CM said he was whining a bit. In fairness it was his first Disney kennel

We hopped over to RnR with just 2 minutes before official park opening. Just moments after the CM scanned our bands and we entered the music started and the riff raff were quickly entering the ride!

We stopped for some coffee and snacks afterwards

Oh and if forgot to post our pics from Haunted Mansion form the day prior.

Sherman was looking towards the camera until the very moment it took the photo amd he turned lol

I forgot to mention Sherman git a much better report card at RnR kennel. He was nice and relaxed when we entered the room to get him!

We finish3d hed our snacks and headed over to Star Tours. @riverside has already posted about our meet up so perhaps you've seen the pics but ill post again. We met her amd her crew over at Baseline!

The CM at the front door was talking to Sherman and I told her that she isnt suppose to distract t the dog. Sje didnt seemed to be pleased with my comment but hopefully she learned something. My sister always says I come off rude the way i tell people to leave the dog alonel ol. After telling so many people over the years, I admit I may get a snarky tone and FYI, its the CM next to Darstarr innthe licutre of everybody

We were sure to get a picture with Mike and the New MIke, Megan!

We really had an awesome time with the gang. We drank and made our ancesstors proud!

We parted ways with Baseline Crew and hopped on the skyliner

Sherman definitely enjoys this mode of transportation

He was a bit weary when the doors would open but he found a safe way to see what was going on and remain "hidden"

We were cracking up because he made quite an effort to strategically position himself here

LWtL was another hit for Sherm

And nobody lost a shoe !

we stopped in Canada so I could grab a La Fin.

A little Remmy action

After Ratatouille, the girls had a sales call so they found a spot to do their busy business stuff amd Sherm and I took a stroll.

I grabbed C's new favorite drink (espresso martini from Joffreys) and sent her some pics

I met back up with the girls amd we grabbed a snack

Tuen we ran into the B.C!

We did nit say it, but we laughed at our receipt

Headed back to the room. Sherm enjoys the various modes of transportation we've taken

Sherman is such a beautiful dog, and I can see that he's enjoying his time with you all at WDW!!! How fun that you were able to meet up with so many forum board friends! I can't wait to stay at BLT after seeing your pics of the new updated rooms!

We got some rest back at the room

There was a veterinarian conference (VMX) in town amd some of the vets and vet techs from our pet center back home were attending and we invited them over for dinner drinks at California Grill

I work alongside these woem daily amd I cant express the amlu.t of hard work they deal with on a daily basis. I was glad they were able to get a little magic in during their trip. They really loved the rooftop fireworks as we were all singing along during the show.

My sister and Patti headed back to the room adter fireworks and I stayed a bit longer with vets for another round... or three. Those girls are party ani.las and I had to pretend that I could keep up

I must have been tipsy on the way back to the room. I Dont remember taking this photo. Im sure that my drunk brain had a reason but I cant figure out why

And I apparently stopped for a beer somewhere. Im assuming this was Outer Rim. They were still serving the Sam Adam's Winter White, which I love.

I had placed an Instacart order that I must have picked up from fromt desk. And while I dont remember taking this pic below, i know why! Its the soap we use at home and I normally bring a bar down but since I flew down I didn't bring one. I sent this pic to C so she was proud of me

And that was all for Monday!
