Im back.. Here is part one of my trip report...I am back from heaven… I went to the Magic kingdom and Disney MGM studios for holiday magic…. Here is Part 1
Friday: Typed last post for 2 days and caught up on news and got in my car to drive to the resort. I-4 traffic not bad for a Friday night. No crashes at all. After driving through the resort, (scenic rout)
I got to the Downtown Disney Resort area.. (everywhere else in my price range was booked…) to get to the double tree resort. Not bad for still cleaning some hurricane damage on 2 ends of the resort. By the way.. Any idea what a ozone ocean converter is, it was in my room for one day and I smelled like chlorine.. Is it possible I got a recently fixed room??) any way I slept for a hour..
Then went to DTD to shop. My sister went with me to shop and we got a few new pins, and things for family and friends.. (and bribing my teacher with to accept some late work :lookaroun )
Eat some pizza.. Then go back to resort to sleep up.. (and watch starts for free, finally saw Return of the king.. Not bad..)
Saturday: wake up early to catch unreliable bus which for once was reliable to get to MK for taping of parade.. (sadly I still couldn’t get a wrist band and had to sit on side lines near the plaza restraint. But saw Regis and Kelly and a few floats before went around the park to ride something.. But unfortunately.. My sister and mother who came along and paid for me to get in wanted lunch,
so we eat at the starlight café and listened to a little of sonny….. (I missed him, glad he is back). We walked (or in one case. Pushed/rolled) around fantasy land to see the crowds were here and lines stretched miles long I think… I saw the 2 walls.. (I think cement is down in old lagoon now… in some spots at least….) and went to see a few things/shop.
My sister was on the hunt for a stitch Santa hat.. Never found one…(she is going to kill me…) I went over to IASW’s wall and peeked through a few cracks… Scaffolding.. The wall is slowly going back up… and some dirt here and there.. Not bad… I think I saw a monster truck that said MKT.. But that could have been from the sugar high…. (mellow yellow in the morning…) Eventually I got over to the stroller parking lot.. And it was empty.. Which makes since… sense strollers were everywhere else….. and a Donald Meet & Greet was set up, minus donald...
