Just curious to what people tend to do? Like how many of us stay in and how many stay off grounds. I always stay off site in feb vaca and the other times in the year i stay on-site. And the actual resort you tend to stay at.

We are on site people, too. The conveinience is just great and we really feel like we are in the magic. We are staying in Disney World so it is awesome.

We always stay at a different resort each time. We like to explore each one. Next time is WL. :)

I like when we stay onsite , but we own a starwood 2bdrm lockoff villa vacation property on Int'l Drive.

Most of our trips down this decade have involved us using our vacation property, and it has been great. Only 5-7 minutes from the property, and will take a maximum of 15-20 minutes to get back to the villa from any parking lot in WDW.

A big plus for us is the kitchen, and space to spread out. Pretty easy to fix breakfast in the morning before heading out to the park, and can take care of meals at the mid-day break.... or have an early dinner at the villa before heading back out for the evening.

Another plus.... IN ROOM LAUNDRY MACHINE!! You don't have to pack for each day you are there, or pay a huge price for mousekeeping to wash your necessary clothes.

Since I'm now addicted to free dining, I'd stay onsite so that you can get free dining (at the right time of year, if they offer it), but I might otherwise stay offsite... we had a very nice condo one year near the parks, and it was not too bad having to drive to the parks. Without free dining, we'd likely need to have access to offsite choices... but we probably just won't go without free dining (unless some other deal was just irresistable).
