BTW, I think I know exactly who did the "Sights and Sounds" cruise that night, but am not going to say just in case.

J,

I have to say that I agree. I'm pretty sure I know exactly who it was... Actually, I know for a fact he was working too...

WWW,

He's not gone... He's far from it. I'll mention it, but I'm not the person he needs to hear it from. Maybe I'll tell you who we think it is, and you can talk to him. As for other stuff to do in the temple, YEAH THERE IS! Not that I do... Because it's not OG...

Completely untrue. According to "guidelines" Skippers must speil everywhere but the temple. But they are REQUIRED to spiel safety. The "Sights and Sounds of the Jungle Cruise" crew is a HUGE no-no, and, depending on who you tell, a "Manager Meeting" Offense.

Well, I was just saying what I was told when I was a JC Skipper in Disneyland. Maybe the people telling me that were confused. BTW, I always told jokes throughout the ride, lol.

Disneyland? Disneyland? No. Disneyland JC and WDW JC are two different attractions. They have more show scenes, we have a longer ride. And we have William, Ron and Danger Bob! Disneyland has different training techniques then we do. You can't compare DL OG and WDW OG. Doesn't suit.

Believe me, they try to make up train the DL OG sometimes. You try yelling about piranhas when you're sitting at an African Veldt.

Whoa, sorry! It wasn't meant as any attack on you or WDW's JC. I understand that they are different attractions and of course they have different OGs, cause of different state laws and regulations, but still have some similar stuff. I have worked at both WDW and DL and so know there are differences and similarities.

Just curious, have you been on DL's JC since the addition of the piranhas?

Two years ago we rode the JC very late and there were only the 6 of us on the boat. When our skipper realized we knew the spiel as well as her, she asked if any of us wanted to drive the boat. We all did then she sat with us and showed us hidden Mickey's along the cruise. When we returned to the dock, she said we would be riding with her again and we got a second cruise with more CM stories. Skipper Lorena is our fav!!!
I think thats who I had on the 9th when I was there.(unless there is someone with a simalar name) She even "reminded" us that yes the 3 o'clock parade is at 3 as she mentions how many times gusts ask her. She also had a few corney Disney jokes that were not jc related & also when people didn't react to things jokeingly said something like "come on its Disney people play along" She was wonderful she sure made my jc great for me & my friend who was takeing his first cruise.

I went back to WDW last week and rode jungle cruise again, this time with a little more success! (actually, I think it was exactly a week ago, to the hour even) anyways... I'm not real familiar with all the skippers, but think that i got danger bob. anyways, he was hilarious and more than made up for the angry mime of a skipper that we had last time (even if bob used me for one of his jokes). Unfortunately, my friends newbie friends decided to skip JC this time, so they have yet to get the full experience.
