October usually runs between low 70s during the day and cooling into the 50s at night. Remember to pack a jacket as the humidity can make the evening events a little nippy - but the days are absolutely beautiful.

Not sure when the 2009 Halloween dates will be released. I'm waiting on that myself to book my trip for 2009.

Was there just a couple of weeks ago at the beginning of October. Weather was high 80's to low 90's, although I have heard that is unusual for the time of year. Hope it is not that high next year.

We have been twice during the first week of October (2002 & 2008) and both times it was HOT (upper 80s to low 90s) and HUMID, everyone has told us that it gets better after the first week or so once Hurricane season is pretty much over. This last time we had some pretty hard rains at least three or four of the days (evenings actually). This year the first MNSSHP was September 5.

Last year, early September was 70's-80's, this year 80's-90's. Early October is a great 'secret' time. I call it secret because it's got summer temperatures with little to no ride waits. You only get free dining till the 3rd of October though, I think?
