Hi Everyone,
Just returned from a great 3-day trip to WDW! It was my first trip in about 15 months - I used to visit a few times a year, so this was a really long time for me! There were some things I noticed that seemed "new-to-me" that I was interested in asking about...I don't remember ever seeing these discussed on the boards, but, it's of course possible that I might have missed it.
At many of the omnimover/continuously loading rides (such as Buzz, Nemo, Little Mermaid, peoplemover etc.) they have these rubber-looking poles near the load and/or unload. I've always wondered what these are used for. Does anyone know? You can see them in the bottom right corner at 1:17 in this video:
Thanks!

- Has Disney been installing/replacing new blacklights on some of the dark rides? It looked to me like many of the big blacklights have been replaced by smaller, possibly LED blacklights - that look almost like pinspots. Is this new?
- On the parking lot trams, I always remember the cast member saying something along the lines of "Driver, clear" but it seems like they are now saying "Driver, clear to dispatch". Just sort of curious as to why this change.
- At Cinderella Castle, I never remember being able to walk through the castle when the DAWM set (the tents) were setup. It was always blocked off between shows. This trip, between shows they had the left (Stage Right) ramp open to walk through the castle, but the right (Stage Left) was completely closed off. Is this a new change? It's definitely a positive to have the castle open between shows!
- Has there been a change to Test Track's queue line since it changed to 2.0? I had a FP+ for the ride, but I remember there being a specific room for FP to build their cars - not merging into the A & B rooms.
