I originally didn't want to post my guesses on the board and ruin the challenge for other members, but then I remembered I could mask my guesses in a white color. So here goes.

WARNING - Highlighting my answers or looking too closely at them may contain SPOILERS for any I may get right.

What was the code name Walt gave the WDW project when he was buying up land for it?

Project X, and later The Florida Project

What is the only land in the Magic Kingdom that has not had utildors below it?

Mickey's Toontown Fair

Is any part of the Seven Seas Lagoon located within the Magic Kingdom, and if so where? (trick question)

Do you mean how the canal used for the Water Pageant to enter the Lagoon also connects to the Rivers Of America in Frontierland?

What is the number on the fire station on Main Street?

71, because the park opened in 1971

What music from a past attraction received a remix and played somewhere in the Magic Kingdom?

Are you referring to the Tomorrowland instrumental music loop, which includes instrumentals of the songs "If You Had Wings" from IYHW and "Miracles From Molecules" from DL's Adventure Through Inner Space? "Now Is The Time" from the previous version of Carousel of Progress is also on that loop, and you could also be referring to the abbreviated version of "In The Tiki Tiki Tiki Room" that plays during Under New Management

Where does the roman numeral 4 appear as IIII instead of IV and why?

On a clock/s in the parks because they either used to make clocks this way, or someone made a mistake. I have heard the exact story about which one it is, but I can't remember it right now. I'm going to guess the one above the Main Street Railroad Station.

Wow, you're good :sohappy: In terms of the seven seas lagoon, that is not what I am refering to, I'm refering to the fact that the soil from the seven seas lagoon was used to build up fantasyland. The the remix song, you got it right on the first try, but you educated me becasue I was not aware of the rest. And for the last one, it is on the american adventure pavillion in epcot, and is accurate for the time period.

Yes, please post them. This is a great thread!! So much better than the typical "amateur" trivia questions you get from more mainstream sources. Thank you to the OP for tossing out this challenge!!

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that posted questions (and answers) so far. I've been quizzing my friend's 7 y/o son with basic trivia questions for a few weeks in preparation for a November trip and I can't wait to add all these new ones to our list. The people here never cease to amaze me with all of this collective knowledge!

Most of these questions may be just a wee bit difficult for a 7year old... just sayin. :D

I agree, but this isn't your standard 7 y/o - his parents have been indoctrinating him with Disney stuff for years! He can already produce an exact replica of nearly any character autograph on command. I give it less than a year until he starts posting on this forum :animwink: But yeah, as far as the trivia questions, I don't even know most of the answers myself! David S. - did you think of all those questions yourself or do you have a trivia book? If so, I'd like to buy it... if not, maybe you should write one so I can!

As Bert says in Mary Poppins, "It's all me own work, from me own memory!" :)

Thanks for the compliments about the questions! I had a lot of fun thinking of them!

I've been blessed with the opportunity to spend lots of time in the parks in the last 5 years,( more than I ever dreamed possible), because I moved to the area after my hometown New Orleans was devestated by the storm, and I still live in the WDW area part-time.

I'm really into soaking up all the theming details and not rushing through the parks, which, to be fair, is easier to do when you know you have the time to.

Most of the answers to all of the questions can be found in the parks themselves with no external sources necessary - in the signage, spiels, theming, and other "little details" that make the parks so rich and magical.

A few, such as the "who wrote this" type of questions, do come from outside sources, such as books, magazines, DVDs, and CDs about the parks that I collect and enjoy.

I'm also really into Disney films and music, so that's how I know the names of the songs from Disney films that are on the music loops.

The reason I focused on easily overlooked minutae in the questions is because the OP asked for "stumpers"! :)

That's a tough one. I don't know the EXACT number of animals, as I've never counted all the chickens! But I do have a good idea of where all the animals in the ride can be found. I'll put my answer in white:

In the cave scene before the drop, there's a crab near the skeleton and a seagull on his head.

In the auction scene, there's a donkey, a rooster, several chickens, and some goats.

In the next scene there's a dog barking next to the barrel, and in the back where the women are chasing the pirates away, there's a chicken chasing another chicken!

Next, on the right is "Old Bill" hanging out with some cats, and offering them rum!

The next scene has my favorite animals on the ride - next to the three pirates singing "Yo Ho" is a donkey braying along and a doggie barking along! Later in that scene to the right is some oinking pigs, and up on the bridge next to the pirate with the hairy leg is a parrot.

Another one of my favorites is the doggie who won't give up those jail keys in the next scene.

And then in the last scene, there's another parrot in this new scene featuring Captain Jack.
