We have been given the address for a villa we are renting and its on yellow crane drive, Oak island cove. Any advice comments on this area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Coming over on 17th April.:animwink:

Oak island cove

Good Morning...
We have owned a home in Emerald Island (right next door to Oak Island) and now stay 3 months a year in Disney area...
Oak Island Cove is very very nice with great access to Disney. You are about 1 1/2 miles south off Highway 192. This is a housing community, so a very long walk to any restaurant or store, but it is walkable...probably not walkable to Disney unless you are REALLY into walking.
It is about 3 miles to Disney via Sherberth Road short cut..(from Oak Island turn left on Formosa Gardens to 192...right on 192 about a mile to Sherberth Road...turn left. It is a narrow two lane road for about 2 miles...look up and you will see Everest and the Tree of Life in AK. The road will turn a couple of times and come to a stop light. It will be Osceola Parkway. Turn right and follow the signs to all the parks. To EXIT Disney, follow signs to Animal Kingdom and then CAREFULLY follow the last sign to Animal Kingdom LODGE to the left. You will be back at the stop light...turn left to 192 and right on 192 back to Formosa Gardens Blvd and you are now a DISNEY DRIVING EXPERT.)
The construction is the new interstate and I do not think will bother you much....
Enjoy...you are in a great location for Disney...
