O.K. lets clear this up.....Wheres the "PIRATES" movie premiere going to be???

Some say Disneyland,,,,others say Walt Disney World......somebodys has to know this......My own opinion says WDW because the first POTC movie premiered at disneyland.....it would just make sense that it would premiere this time in Florida.....im sord of hoping so sense im going to be working at disney atarting this March through Aug. Supposedly it hasn't been decided where the premiere will be held yet. It isn't really up to the parks at all where the premiere will be held, it is up to the studio and studio marketing. They came in and really ran the DL premiere from what I hear and DL just had to work around it and help accomodate it.

My money would be on the premiere being in DL again. This is because of location to Los Angeles and cost of getting press and people to WDW and also that the ride opens up a week or so earlier in DL. Therefore they can get kinks worked out before the premiere. The ride isn't suppose to open in WDW until the 7th and the premeier would need to be before that. There might be soft openings, but you never know.

I'm pretty sure it's officially going to be at DL, hence the June 24th opening vs. July 7th at WDW. It just makes sense to have a premiere that close to LA instead of way out here in Florida. Not 100% sure on that, but it would make a lot more sense.
