Numerous temporary closures at about 2 p.m. EST in two parks

Can anyone confirm or know why there were so many attractions down temporarily at about 2 pm today?

That's what i was hoping, but my weather app is not working and i have friends headed there now, just trying to give them an update.

Yep looking at the radar there is a lot of lightning activity over the park areas.

We have had non-stop down pours with heavy lightning since 12:30 today and I am 15 min from WDW currently sitting in my office sort of working right now.
