Now What.

So I've been looking forward to "Dining with a Disney Imagineer" since FOREVER and I couldn't wait to ask the imagineer all the questions i had thought up and receive my commemorative plate and stuff

but I called to make a reservation today... and
IT'S FULL

I know it's my fault for booking so late, but I had my reasons. My party is extremely sad right now & i don't think there's any other way to get in...

But it's time to move on so I was wondering if there's any similar experiences that WDW has to offer...Something that could make up for dining with a Disney imagineer. I know there's nothing like it, but anything close or just as good of an experience would be great.

Basically, are there any more of those "Disney dining experiences that you can't miss" kinda things

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Did you check for every day you're there? If yes, the only suggestion is keep calling daily in case there are cancellations. I don't think there's any other Disney experience comparable.

Can't miss dining includes Jiko, Bome, Le Cellier, CRT and a few others for myself and DS, but that's not exactly what you asked...

Just like MontyMon says, keep checking. We were able to get a better Chef Mickey's reservation for our last night in December because we were persistent!

I agree with the above posters. Just keep calling over and over again. You never know what may happen:wave: Good luck and I hope that it works out that you can still get to dine with an imagineer. If it doesn't work out, maybe it is something you can do on your next trip--you'll have plenty of time to come up with more questions:eek:

There are a number of tours and such that are done for an additional cost, but nothing involving face time with an Imagineer.

So..there's only 9 days left until our trip......Do people usually cancel within a few days of their trip? Is there still a chance?

According to the AllEars site there is a 48 hour cancellation policy, so anyone canceling will have to do so prior to that. I say definitely keep checking as there might be folks who are waiting until the last minute to cancel, for whatever reason. You just never know. Good luck :)
