Good Morning. Its Friday. Whoo Hoo,and here we go. Now I know my favourite sandwich can be found at Earls at downtown. But where in Disney have you had one that is so different from the run of the mill.? Todays " Eatingwdw " has a review of PORS famous " Muffaletta " ( made famous from Italian immigrants settling in New Orleans ) I remember the first time I ordered it at the food court. When I saw the size of it,I realised we were back in the good old US of A. But I loved the salami,in fact I loved everything about it.Anyway, apart from the obvious Sandwich's, have you got a special one that is a must do when at Disney.I love anything on multigrain bread but hit me with your " Secret Sandwich " ;)

Never had anything at Earle that I did not like.
Have had the muffaleta at PORS and was quite disappointed, but that is because we have had the original at Central Grocery in NO, and it is big enough for two meals and the olive salad piled on layers and layers of meat make it just about the best sandwich I have ever had. If you have a chance, google Central Grocery muffaleta sometime.

Guess I did not answer your original question.
We drive, so when I need a sandwich fix other than Earle, we go over to a Publix grocery store and get a handmade in their deli ultimate sub, dripping in mayo, oil and vinegar, topped with several kinds of meat and layered with more veggies than grandma's garden, on 7-grain bread...yummmmm.

I have had them in New Orleans as well. Not quite the same as in WDW. Muffaletta while walking down Burbon Street - messy but good. Then some boiled crawfish.

As for WDW, how about the handwich?

OMG, I cannot even think of eating any other Muffaleta. The Central Grocery was the first place I ever had one and none other that I have ever had since has lived up. I have given up and often don't bother to even try them any place else.

I don't really eat sandwiches at the World, I go with burgers! DD4 likes the uncrustables on the kid's menu, lol.
