November visit

I'm due to go back to WDW at the start of November, last time I was there was 6 years ago so i'm really looking forward to seeing all the new stuff. It's also my boyfriends first time so i'm trying to make it special for him. As we are going during that transition period between Halloween and Christmas i was wondering, does this mean that the castle in MK is going to have a lot of scaffolding around it as they begin to put up the decorations? I'm looking forward to seeing the parks decorated for Christmas for the first time, but also don't want the scaffold to spoil it for a first timer.
Is there going to be other visible works going on around any of the other parks as well?
We are there between 3rd and 17th Nov.

No scaffolding. Work is done by a retractable crane, usually overnight now. Work began last month.

From my visit last year during the transition from Halloween to Christmas it’s two nights of putting the Christmas stuff up. By the 3rd I would say the tree will be up...you won’t even see the Halloween stuff since the 31st is the last Halloween party this year.

Disney has the decorating down to a science. Everything is planned out and every tree, every decoration is mapped out and assigned a spot. We went on a tour that showed the year long preperations and detailed system they have in place. Everything is magically transformed almost overnight. We vacationed over the transition one year and couldnt believe the amount of change they can accomplish in a matter of hours. All the parks and resorts have their own unique decorations and Christmas dressing. Dont forget to visit the resorts... they have wonderful things to see... especially GF.
