November PS - neccessary?

Will be staying in Disney this November and although we have a lot of places we would like to try for lunch & dinner I was wondering how neccessary is it to have PS at restaurants. Being that Nov. 11 - 17 is a slower period what are the chances of getting a table without a PS. I intend to make a few PS at definite places of interest but wanted to have more of a leisurely schedule. Thanks in advance for any help you might offer.

We are always there at the end of Nov/early Dec. It's been my experience that as long as you don't try to eat during the "normal" lunch and dinner hours, you can pretty much walk up and be seated. An exception might be the rain forest cafe at DTD. They seem to always be crowded. It's much easier to walk up and be seated anywhere right away for lunch than it is dinner. And any charactor meal... you're better off having PS regardless of time of day.

If you want to eat at Epcot on the weekend, you might want to make a PS. It's Food and Wine Festival time, and it gets very crowded! (but usually only on the weekend) If you're interested in wines and beers, they have tasting and seminars you can sign up for, and lots of samples of wine, beers, and food from different countries around WS for a somewhat reasonable (for a resort) price.
