November Hours question

We are headed back from 11/14 -11/22.
As I am looking at the preliminary hours, I noticed that on 11/17 the MK closes at 7pm. This is not one of the MVMCP dates. Why would it close early when there isn't a hard ticket event that evening?

I am wondering the same thing, and I don't think it is a typo because another site has the same closing time also with no MVMCP scheduled. I am curious because we will be there at that time, but going to the party the night before.

Most other sites will pull directly from the official calender, so if it is wrong there, it will be wrong everywhere.

Currently, I can not get the official calender to go past 11/11/2014 making it very had to say what is going on.

I don't think it's a special event. I think you can only rent out certain areas of MK for special events, unlike AK or DHS.

Maybe it was a "saved date" for MVMCP and it will opened back up when the official hours are announced by Disney.

I meant it may be a Disney affiliated private event. They have closed a park early to honor employees for certain years of service.

I seem to recall a golf tournament after-hours event in the past around that time...

My guess they'll change those hours in the upcoming months. Last year November calendar was updated at least three different times.

There may be a private event taking place. However, the schedule is for a 7pm close on the 17th, with no Christmas party.

My guess is that the WDW Magic Calendar, being "unofficial", is simply screwed up.
